Dave JohnstonCaptain Dave has been a sailor for over 25 years and has extensive experience as a Charter Captain in the Caribbean, Mediterranean and the Great Lakes. Relying on his extensive knowledge, he knows all the great places to take his guests to make the most of their sailing vacation. His passion is to make sure each of his guests have the experience of a lifetime. Dave is a Sail Canada Certified Instructor for both the Advanced and Intermediate Cruising Standard and is the Senior Instructor for Grassroots Sailing School based out of Ontario Canada and normally St. Maarten, Dutch West Indies, (with the devastation of Hurricane Irma, Sailabration Cruising has temporarily relocated to Antigua for the 2018 winter sailing season) .  He holds the Advanced, Intermediate, Basic and Coastal Navigation Cruising standards as well as his VHF Restricted Operator Certificate (Maritime) & DSC.
